Why I became a crochet tech editor.
I’ve been crocheting for over half my life. A dear friend taught me, and when I read my first pattern, everything clicked. I began tweaking the patterns I purchased, making them easier to read and correcting any mathematical or grammatical mistakes I found. When I started writing my own patterns, I realized there weren't many practical resources available for designers; most of them felt too generic. I set out to learn everything I could so I could create resources for designers like you!
Now, I create practical, educational resources that help crochet designers write and publish patterns with excellence—and sell more of them. I’m a crochet tech editor and certified crochet instructor, and I’ve worked with designers around the world.

I love all my Nelsonwood hooks! Hands down, the best hooks I’ve ever crocheted with! I love me a size H-8! It’s just so versatile.
Who are your hero's?
My Savior and Best Friend, Jesus, My husband, and Mike Heiser (an incredible bible nerd and teacher).
What do you collect?
I have an absolute love for pens! I am very picky with which pens end up in my collection though. The finer it can write, the better!
Go-To Drink?
I love a good, strong cup of coffee or a large Chick-fil-a coke with extra ice! I also love me a ginger beer (no, it’s not really beer) with freshly squeezed lime!
What's your favorite playlist?
This completely depends on my mood and what I’m doing. I listen to anything from classical piano to ghetto Christian rap.
